Restaurant
Here at The Hanmer Arms we have no rules as to where you eat; so please make yourself
at home. In the summer months, we open the terrace bar situated on the first floor
which has a great view of the Berwyn Mountains.
The Hanmer Arms Restaurant is open every day with food served all day everyday.
We offer an array of delicious food, which include tasty snacks, lunches and dinners
in a lovely informal atmosphere. Choose from a number of menus including the A la
Carte Menu which offers a choice of classic dishes.
Our increasingly popular Sunday Carvery is now available:

All of our customers are important to us and our our excellent team of chefs
use fresh, locally sourced ingredients to produce the food which is all prepared
fresh on the premises. Our chefs buy seasonal, homegrown vegetables, fruits and
salad from local producers such as Lady Kenyon and Peter The Hanmer Potato Merchant!
We do not buy in frozen foods from a catering wholesaler!
The Lounge Bar
Our Lounge Bar is a very relaxed way of dining with a great atmosphere and up to
date decor, where anyone can just sit and have a drink or dine. It is great if you
are looking for a quick snack or a cosy informal meal with friends.
The Glendower Restaurant
Our Glendower restaurant is larger than the lounge, this restaurant has a touch
of class to it with clothed tables and cloth napkins, perfect for special occasions,
large parties or celebrations.
Bar
The Bar at Hanmer Arms is situated within the main building and is open daily from
10.00am until 00.30am Monday to Saturday, and 11.00am until 23.30pm on Sundays.
A comfortable and convivial place to relax, our bar is extremely well stocked and
offers a range of popular real ales:-
- Real Ale Beers - Stonehouse "Station" is our House Real Ale and we always stock
two local Guest Ales which change regularly ... (*Stonehouse is a local Oswestry
brew which is relatively new and winning awards)
The Hanmer Arms, Bar & Restaurant provides a perfect venue for:
