Bangor on Dee Racecourse

Bangor-on-Dee Racecourse is a left-handed jumps racecourse set in glorious countryside, overlooked by the Welsh hills and located 17 miles from The Hanmer Arms. Bangor-on-Dee has a unique character, exemplified by the fact that this is the only Racecourse in the country that doesn't have a Grandstand!

No worries on the viewing front though as the main grass viewing bank provides a natural amphitheatre to the racing action. The much improved permanent facilities also provide ample resources for all of our racegoers.

Over the course of the year, there are 15 fixtures spread throughout the four seasons giving everyone a chance to come racing at some point in the year and experience the magical charm of Bangor races. See below for 2011 race dates:
